Phyllis May Fowell
June 11, 1922 – February 10, 2017
On Friday, February 10, Phyllis Fowell entered into eternal rest, surrounded by the love of her family.
Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years Kenneth Fowell in March 2015. She is also predeceased by her sister Evelyn and her brother Gordon (Bud). She is survived by her loving daughters Lynda and Terry, her sister Shirley, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her 3 grandchildren James, Angela and Collin and 5 great grandchildren.
Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a proud member of the Charleswood Ladies Auxiliary. She lived in Charleswood for the majority of her life and was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
In accordance with Phyllis’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life has been held. The family wishes to thank the staff at Charleswood Care Centre, the Grace Hospital Emergency Department and the 3 North ward.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation are appreciated. Phyllis’s ashes will be interred alongside Ken’s in the spring of 2017.
