Lois Isabella Ruth Coyle (nee Bell)
April 8, 1936 – Rainy River, Ontario
January 19, 2017 – Winnipeg, Manitoba

Lois left this world for a new and wonderful place where she will be gardening, knitting and playing the piano to her heart’s content in addition to enjoying a glorious reunion with Wes and other family members and friends she has not seen in a long time.

Lois was born to David Bell and Alma Louise Wardman. She was predeceased by her son Wesley Coyle in 2010, which was the most difficult thing she had to endure in her life. She is survived by her other children Peggy Seaver (Chris) of Calgary and Ron Coyle, her brother Ken Bell, sister Mary Lou Amos and brother-in-law Denis Amos as well as grandchildren (Wes’ daughters) Melissa Coyle and Krystin Coyle and also Sarah Seaver and Rose Seaver, both of Calgary.

She was an intelligent, private and strong willed person, who was devoted to her children as they were devoted to her. Some particularly special memories are when Lois would play the Moonlight Sonata on the piano to lull her children to sleep; many a night you would hear “mom, can you play the Moonlight Sonata?”

The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and staff from Home Instead Senior Care who helped to improve Lois’ quality of life throughout the past few years.

In accordance with Lois’ wishes, her body has been cremated and a private interment will take place in the summer.
