March 20, 2017
Kenneth Jacob Blatz
While surrounded by family, we sadly announce the loss of our cherished Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Ken on Monday, March 20, 2017.
Ken was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Justina Blatz, brother Albert, sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Art Heppner, daughter-in-law Jamie, as well as brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gordon and Maureen Tario.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife and best friend of 52 years, Glenda (nee Cooper), children Mark (Corinne), Kevin (Danielle), Kristin (Dan) and Ryan (Kelly), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ken served with the RCAF as a photographer from 1960 to 1978. He then worked for Purolator for 22 years, retiring in 2000.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Foundation of Manitoba Inc. Masons Care and to Cancer Care Manitoba.
As family was everything to Ken and in following with his wishes, a private family service will be held.
