Surrounded by her family, Julie passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the age of 93, at Concordia Hospital.
Julie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Armand.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Joe (Angie), Gail, Neil (Linda), grandchildren Michelle (Stephan), Venus (Richard), Elizabeth, Tyler (Amanda), Tamara (Justin), Melody (Tyler) and great-grandchildren Harmony, Kiana, Jay-Lynn, Abel, and Princeton as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Julie was born in St. Pierre-Jolys, growing up on the farm and being close to her siblings as family was important to her.
She enjoyed her summers at the trailer in Lee River.
Julie definitely treasured time with her family and had many dinners and gatherings so we could all be together as often as possible.
She worked for Fish Services until her retirement.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concordia Foundation, 1095 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S8 for the Comfort Care Unit.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with viewing prior.
