<div itemprop="description">Jean Elizabeth Gourlay<br><br>We are deeply saddened to announce, that with her loving family by her side, Jean passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at the age of 90, on April 29, 2017.<br><br>Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Jim in 1995. She was the loving mother of Janet (Henry), Jim, Jack (Laura) and Jo-Anne (Neil). Proud grandma of Jennifer, Jim, Duncan, Tristen and Kelli, great-grandma to her little girls, Rielle, Lyla, and Katelyn. Sister-in-law to Mary, Helen and William, aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.<br><br>Jean will be sadly missed by her many friends at 895 Wilkes Avenue and the Reh-Fit on Taylor Avenue.<br><br>The family wishes to thank the kind, compassionate and caring doctors and nurses on A4 South at St. Boniface Hospital, especially nurses Wendy and Ilina.<br><br>No one loves you the way your mum does. <br><br>No one hugs as long, smiles as warmly, cares as completely, listens as widely or believes as deeply as she does. <br><br>A life well lived Mum. We miss you.<br><br>A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. with reception to follow.<br><br></div>
