Ingelore Gross
May 2, 2017
Ingelore Gross (nee Vetter)
April 20, 1938 – May 2, 2017
It is with great sadness, we regret to inform you of the sudden passing of Ingelore on May 2, 2017. She went to be with the love of her life Rolf.
She was predeceased by her husband Rolf, mother and father Frida and Herrman, brother and sister Gerhardt and Hilde.
She will be forever lovingly remembered as “Mom” by her daughter Birgit (Garry), “Oma” by her grandchildren Jennifer (Ken) and Melissa (Shawn) and great-grandchildren Chloe, Chase and Skylar. She also leaves her nieces, Ursula, Heidi, Elke and their families; her nephews Peter Anderson and Peter Gross and families. Her presence will be missed by her friends at bingo, at bowling from Academy Bowling Lanes and from the cottage at Red Rock Lake. She always craved fun, and could be seen cruising in her “lipstick red” Dodge Charger heading to the cottage with her blue streak in her hair.
We wish we could turn back time
and see you once again
instead we move forward
and keep you forever in our hearts
Although we cannot see or hear you
we know you are happy,
you are with the love of your life
We can close our eyes and cry
or, we can do what she would have wanted,
smile, dance and have a drink.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
