It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our son and brother Giuseppe (Joe) Perrelli at the age of 52 in Calgary Alberta. Joe is predeceased by his sister Guilianna (1971).
Joe Perrelli was born in Torano, Castello Italy in 1963 and immigrated with his family to Winnipeg at the age of Six in September 1969.
Joe worked at motor coach industries for 17 years and then continued to work in construction in Calgary. Joe liked the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and watching and playing sports.
He also had a passion for music and attended many concerts over the years with many friends.
He leaves to mourn his loving mother, Assunta and father, Emilio Perrelli. His six siblings Rosemary, Sandra (Mario) Falvo, Gio (Lois), Orazio, Sonia (Ray) Duma, and Michael (Michelle). Joe also leaves his six nieces and nephews, Mina (Guilio), Vito (Monica), Alder (Cathy), Alyssa, Riley and Julianna. He also leaves behind his uncle Aldo Perrelli and family here in Winnipeg and numerous family in Italy.
The family would like to thank the Foothills hospital in Calgary for their compassionate care.
Rest in peace our dear son and brother you will be dearly missed. We love you and your memory will not be forgotten.
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Ave. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment at Assumption Cemetery.
