Sadly on Friday, March 24, 2017 mom passed away at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB at the age of 85. Special thanks to the staff for the excellent care given to her.
Mom is survived by loving daughters Debbie (Rossco), Cory-Lynn, Kimberly (Garth), and Jody (Shawn); grandchildren Chad (Tammy), Clayton (Sarah), Pierce (Nicole), Jenna, Patrik, Kris (Cayleen) and their father Glen and great-grandchildren Vanessa, Cheston, Jayelle, Emma, Jacob, Tatum, Scarlette and River as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Also deeply missed by sister-in-law Gladys, surviving sisters Effie, Calleen, and Alice (Jerry) and brother Dave (Donna).
Mom was a very kind and forgiving person with a big heart of love for everyone and nature. AKA the Bird Lady and a joker who enjoyed making people laugh. She loved music, singing, playing guitar with dad and family and the card game "Hola".
Mom and dad were inseparable and are now together again.
In keeping with moms wishes no formal service will be held. A private gathering will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
