Dino Carlin
January 22, 2017
DINO CARLIN
In loving memory of Dino, who passed away peacefully on January 22, 2017 with his family by his side.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Josephine; children Daniela (Jeff), Olivia (Troy), Linda (Rod) and Dino Jr.; grandchildren Hilary, Emily, Audrey, Emma, Jared, Jacob, Natalie; and his relatives in Canada and Italy.
Dino was born in the small town of Gruaro, very close to the city of Venice, Italy on January 31, 1926. He arrived in Canada May 18, 1957. Dino met Josephine while taking an English class and they were married June 24, 1961.
We will remember him as a man who was full of life, who loved to talk, laugh and visit with family and friends. Dino was always working and he strived to give his children a better life. Family time was reinforced with routine trips to the family cottage. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Oakview Place for taking care of Dino (Nonno).
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
