Brett Tyler Bourne
January 18, 1998 - June 2, 2015
Winnipeg, Manitoba
It is with the utmost sadness and with immense love that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved son, brother, and dear friend. Brett is survived by his mother Jamie lee Bourne, his father Carl Nolte and his older brother Montana James Bourne, and countless friends and family. He touched everyone's life he met in one way or another with his amazing charm and smile!
Brett had a beautiful spirit, which remained selfless and unconditional to those lives he touched. We are forever blessed to have had the honor of being in your presence, and in your heart, and you, Brett, will remain forever in our hearts for eternity.
For those of us fortunate enough to have truly known Brett, knew he loved the Military, and one day wanted to become part of the Canadian military if possible. He was a part of the Minto Armories Air Cadet program where he got to experience so many adventures.
Brett loved and played football both for the Valour Patriots and Kelvin High School Junior Football team. As a little boy Brett was a very active member of the Winnipeg Model railroad club and never missed a Thursday or Tuesday night if possible, to hang out with the old fellows, learning about the HO scale trains at GOOCH'S and setting up track...Those were such great days....
Brett truly was a gentle soul, but beware, for somewhere there was a joke or a prank about to be unfolding.. He loved to laugh and his smile will shine on forever....Oh his contagious smile.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Kelvin High school, and the medical team for all their efforts.
Goodbyes are not forever
Goodbyes are not the end
they simply mean I will miss you
Until we meet again
Service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Westwood Community Church, with viewing one hour prior to the service.
Private cremation at Chapel Lawn.
